Teko Modise has spoken highly of Themba Zwane adding that he regards him as his Footballer of the Season.
Zwane has been nominated for the Footballer of the Season, Players' Player of the Season and Absa Premiership Midfielder of the Season award this year, with Modise praising the 29-year-old for his talent.

Speaking to the media after retiring from the beautiful game, Modise was asked about who he considers to be the next 'big thing' in South African football, revealing that he thinks Zwane is the best player he has seen in South Africa after Doctor Khumalo.
"I think there is so much talent in South Africa and I think Themba Zwane is not praised as much, I don't think he gets the credit that he deserves, I don't think many people actually realise what he is actually doing in Africa, in the league and in the national team. No player in South Africa right now is doing what he is doing. But just because, maybe he doesn't step on top of the ball and he doesn't juggle the ball, nobody appreciates him as much but I think he is the best player that I have seen in South Africa after Doctor Khumalo. For me he is my footballer of the year and he is the next big thing," Modise told the media.
"There are other guys who are also doing well, like Lorch, he has had a great season and he might also reach his full potential. But when it comes for me, I don't think there will be another Teko Modise, I've been consistent in the PSL for the last 10 years and for that to happen there are a lot of sacrifices.
The question shouldn't be who will be the next Teko Modise, the question should be - is he going to be here for the next 10 years?" he added.
