Jose Mourinho Angry With Gareth Bale Instagram Post

Jose Mourinho Angry With Gareth Bale Instagram Post

It has been claimed that Tottenham Hotspur manager Jose Mourinho is furious with Gareth Bale after a certain post he made on Instagram.

Spurs were knocked out of the FA Cup this week following a 5-4 loss after extra-time to Everton, an encounter Bale missed out on due to reported fitness issues.

Mourinho explained that the Welshman was not injured but had felt some discomfort in training, and had requested a scan, which the Portuguese tactician admitted he was surprised by.

With his remarks seemingly hinting there was perhaps more to the story, the Daily Mirror has now reported that the Portuguese tactician was left angry with the Real Madrid loanee following his recent social media activity.

On Instagram, the winger posted a picture of himself in Spurs gear in training, along with a caption reading "Good session today", which Mourinho felt was ill-timed as it appeared to make him out to be the bad guy in the situation.

It is claimed the Lilywhites' manager is upset about Bale's post, believing that it contradicted his pre-match and post-match comments about the forward's fitness and therefore makes it appear as if he left the player out for other reasons.

Bale's return to Spurs on loan has not quite gone as planned to date, with the 31-year-old featuring just 15 times across all competitions and scoring four goals.
