South Africa's top flight has been attractive to many other African countries' players over the years, especially goalkeepers.
A lot of talented footballers have graced our fields, from the days of the NPSL, and many believe that it is because of the way our league is run. Some feel it's because it pays better than most African leagues.
Either way, we've had great African footballers on our pitches over the years.
Supporters Club would like to hear your views on who you think the best foreigner to have played in our top flight is. We will start with the goalkeepers today, then the defenders next week, the midfielders the week after, and finish off with the strikers after that.
Tell us, in the comments section below, which of these foreign goalkeepers was/is the best to have played in the PSL!
1. The late Shadreck Biemba (Zambia)
2. William Shongwe (Swaziland)
3. Botende Eshele (DRC)
4. Williams Okpara (Nigeria)
5. Francis Chansa (DRC)
6. Denis Onyango (Uganda)
7. Kennedy Mweene (Zambia)
8. Mpangi Merikani (DRC)
