Readers Voice: 'Whats The Point Of Developing Chiefs Players'

With Kaizer Chiefs recently parting ways with three development players, a number of Amakhosi fans have questioned the clubs decision. Have a look!

What's the story?

With Chiefs being one of the busiest teams in the transfer market before and during the 21/22 season, supporters have weighed in on some of the club's latest dealings.

With regards to big name signings made, the likes of Keagan Dolly, Cole Alexander and Brandon Petersen have already showcased why the club went into the transfer window for their services.

New Moves In The Market

However, it was some of the outgoings that left some supporters angered. The Soweto giants recently confirmed that development products Itumeleng Shopane, Sizwe Twala and Ayanda Rorwana have left the club.

Subsequently, the players were cleared to join a club of their choice, with it being it reported that they were not in coach Stuart Baxter's plans.

What's The Use…

In commenting under a Soccer Laduma Facebook post about the outgoing youth products, a fan by the name of Godfrey Sibusiso mentioned that development players ought to represent the club.

Sibusiso said, "What the use of developing young players if the development can't play at Kaizer Chiefs and also don't buy players and sign only free agents."

Have your say…

Do you agree with Sibusiso?
