As Ricardo Nascimento said goodbye to the Mamelodi Sundowns fan base, we take a look at how the fans reacted to his departure.
What's the story?
Due to Sundowns not having room in their foreign quota to accommodate Nascimento, the Brazilian made way for Erwin Saavedra as the Bolivian international begins his journey at Chloorkop.
The ball-playing center-back joined Sundowns in 2016 and quickly became a key member of the Sundowns defensive set-up under the guidance of coach Pitso Mosimane.

The 35-year-old was also one of the club's designated penalty takers, with his composure being an asset in the high-pressure penalty situation. As far as trophies are concerned, Nascimento won four league titles with the club, as well as the coveted CAF Champions League and CAF Super Cup titles.
That said, Nascimento took to his Twitter handle earlier this week as he confirmed the news of his departure.
In a series of thank you Tweets, Nascimento received the warmth from the Downs fans as they thanked him in return for his contribution to the club during a high successful period.
Here are some of the reactions:
