With George Maluleka's contract situation still a big talking point in local football ciricles, a fan has explained why the club should let go of the midfielder and coach Ernst Middendorp.
FIFA recently suggested any contracts that was set to end in June, would be extended automatically as there is chance of leagues being unable to play the remainder of their fixtures before the of June.
With Maluleka signing a pre-contract with Mamelodi Sundowns, FIFA mentioned, "similar principle applies to contracts due to begin when the new season starts, meaning the entry into force of such contracts is delayed until the next season actually does start."
In light of that, a fan by the name of "PeaceLoving" left a comment under the "FIFA Make Important Call Affecting Maluleka Others" story on he Soccer Laduma website and explained why Chiefs should let go of Maluleka and Middendorp as well.
The fan said, "Chiefs should let him go regardless of what FIFA says, he will not be part of the coming season so why hold on to him.
"Yes the program has changed worldwide but I say cut him loose he's a traitor. I hope the team plans for life without Middendorp also he wont take us anywhere either.
"Of the players currently in our team only 40% are up to Chiefs standard the rest are average. I don't mind us going without a trophy for one season more but the Chiefs I'm seeing is not what true AmaKhosi supporters know."
