With Kaizer Chiefs returning to camp as they prepare for the second half of the 21/22 season, supporters have been buzzing at the sight of Samir Nurkovic being back at training.

What's the story?

The return of the DStv Premiership is on the horizon with the Amakhosi stars getting some mileage on their legs in preparation for the next few months. The Glamour Boys made their way to the sunny Cape Town, as they train and do team building activities together.

He Is Back

With a number of names returning to the field, its Nurkovic's presence that caught the eye of many supporters on social media. In providing training images of the team in the Mother City, supporters often pointed out at the Serbian once again being on foot.

Knee Set Back

The 29-year-old underwent knee surgery at the beginning of the campaign, after he suffered a tear in his lateral meniscus, an injury he picked up in Amakhosi's run to the CAF Champions League final last season.

Nurkovic mentioned that he got around with crutches and stopped using them earlier this month, as he began cycling work and now, training sessions with the team.
