Readers Voice: Forget Mbule, Give Radebe More Game Time

Readers Voice: Forget Mbule, Give Radebe More Game Time

With Sabelo Radebe shining for Kaizer Chiefs in the Carling Black Label Cup, fans have begun urging the Amakhosi coaching staff to give the 21-year-old more game time in the new campaign.

What's the story?

Amakhosi received a boost in morale ahead of the 2021/22 domestic season, after beating Pirates in the recent CBL Cup. The showpiece returned to local football for the first time since 2019, with the game producing a number of entertaining moments.

The Fans Are Happy

At the forefront of all things for Amakhosi, was that of Radebe, who was one of the star performers in the game. Many felt that the Chiefs youth product deserved to be named the Man of the Match, ahead of Njabulo Blom.

That said, supporters were buzzing at Radebe's display, with some suggesting that he deserves to be included in the starting XI with the new campaign around the corner.

Forget Mbule

A fan by the name of Nkgatle Botipe, took to the Soccer Laduma Facebook account and gave his opinion on Radebe and mentioned why the club should not go into the transfer window when they already have a product like Radebe at their disposal.

"Give this young lad more game time and forget about Sipho Mbule," Botipe said.

"He is a great player and all but I don't think we should be spending R16 millions on one player.

"No PSL player is worth that much, anyway."

Have your say…

Do you think Radebe should start for Chiefs?
