Reader's Voice - Dube and Ngcobo Combo Will Work Well For Chiefs

Reader's Voice - Dube and Ngcobo Combo Will Work Well For Chiefs

With Kaizer Chiefs being busy in the current transfer window, a local football fan commented on a defensive partnership that will be of great benefit to the club.

What's the story?

As Chiefs continue their work in the transfer window, following their FIFA ban being lifted, it's been reported that the club has reached an agreement with a Bafana Bafana star who is currently on COSAFA Cup duty.

The player in question is that of Richards Bay star, Austin Dube, who shined in the GladAfrica Championship last season.

Busy Behind The Scenes

The 28-year-old was part of the team that knocked Amakhosi out of the Nedbank Cup earlier this year, attracting interest from the club in the process thereafter.

Chiefs are currently undergoing preparations for the upcoming CAF Champions League final against coach Pitso Mosimane's Al Ahly, while the recruitment team look to further strengthen the squad behind the scenes.

Good Defender

In commenting on the Dube move, a fan took to the Soccer Laduma's Facebook page under the 'Chiefs Add One More Signing' post to voice his opinion on the player making his way to Naturena.

Named, Silva Shayna Asiphe, the supporter said, "This guy is a good defender, He is so calm and he doesn't rush to tackles, he reads the game very well."

"If anything goes by Dube and Ngcobo combination will really work for Chiefs."

Have your say…

Do you agree with Asiphe's sentiments on Dube?
