Readers Voice: Better Things Are Coming For Pitso After Al Ahly

Readers Voice: Better Things Are Coming For Pitso After Al Ahly

With Pitso Mosimane now one year into his deal at Al Ahly and one more to go, a fan has commented that even better things await the former Mamelodi Sundowns coach should he leave the club.

What's the story?

Mosimane now has one year left of his contract and it remains to be seen whether he would extend his deal with the club for the immediate future. So far, his time in Egypt has been highly successful, winning a number of top honours from the word 'go'.

Cacoh Pitso managed to win the Egyptian Premier League, two CAF Champions Leagues, the CAF Super Cup, Egyptian Super Cup and a Bronze medal at the FIFA Club World Cup, all during his first year with the club.

Big Money Deal?

As reported by a Moroccan website by the name of MFMSports, Mosimane reportedly received a lucrative offer from a team in the United Arab Emirates, however it's said the he turned down the deal to remain with the Egyptian club.

That said, in commenting under the "Will Pitso Renew Multi-Million Deal Amid Interest Elsewhere" Soccer Laduma Facebook post, a fan by the name of Charles Ngwenya mentioned that Pitso should not sweat a thing regarding his future.

Pitso Will Never Struggle

Ngwenya said, "Pitso is well experienced coach will never struggle to get a job, better things are coming for him after Al Ahly.

"They will renew his contract unless he opts to leave. Right now, he is building his own legacy must give him a chance.

"Remember he was once escorted off the stadium at Downs  but the President was patient with him and his legacy is dominating to date."

Have your say…

Do you think Mosimane should stay with Al Ahly?
