Kaizer Chiefs coach Stuart Baxter recently mentioned that Njabulo Blom is the best full-back in the country, however, a local footy fan believes that the Amakhosi mentor is trying to justify a 'flop' decision.
What's the story?
It can be said that Baxter caused a stir among fans on social media recently, when he came out and mentioned that Blom is the best full-back in the country in his opinion.
In Amakhosi's 1-1 draw against coach Benni McCarthy's AmaZulu in their most recent DStv Premiership match, Baxter explained his game plan regarding the team and also, Blom in a 'new role'.
Playing Better
Baxter mentioned that the Chiefs star showcased his qualities in the role and that in formation change to a 4-3-3, Blom played more productively bringing teammates such as Cole Alexander and Phathutshedzo Nange into the game
However, a local football fan by the name of Sello Moraka took to the Soccer Laduma Facebook account under the 'Baxter: He Is The Best Right Back At The Moment' post in saying that the mentor is justifying his flop decision of changing positions.
CB Problems
Moraka said, "Baxter is trying to justify his flop for changing positions that had no problem, right back and left back, Frosler excels on both positions.
"The problem was our centre backs, he kept playing them despite their poor performance."
