Readers Voice: AmaZulu Must Be Carefull Against Chiefs

Readers Voice: AmaZulu Must Be Carefull Against Chiefs

With AmaZulu coach Benni McCarthy recently giving his thoughts on Kaizer Chiefs 21/22 campaign, fans believe that Usuthu need to be weary of a 'struggling' Amakhosi.

What's the story?

AmaZulu and Chiefs will do battle in the DStv Premiership in what could well cook up to be a tasty tie for the neutrals. While Usuthu look to build momentum after their 1-0 win against Baroka, Chiefs are winless in their last three matches in all competitions.

Wounded Animal

Speaking on Chiefs form, coach Benni told the media this week that the Soweto giants are a fearsome team with top players and they will always bounce back.

"We are finding our groove now, but we know we are up against a fearsome team with incredibly good players. On their day they can punish and hurt any team. You might capitalize when you get them when they are not at their best, like some other teams did.

"But Chiefs will always bounce back because they have players with big match temperament. We are preparing for a clash of the titans," he mentioned.

No Free Points

That said, a fan by the name of   Eric Moimans took to the Soccer Laduma Facebook account and commented under the 'Benni Discusses Struggling Chiefs' and reiterated the point of not underestimating Chiefs.

"Each and every team, once the beat chiefs they usually gain momentum going forward, but Amazulu must be careful because they think that they are going to get free points forgetting that Chiefs too need the three points in order to go back on the chasing again," Moimans explained.

Have your say…

Who do you think will win between Chiefs and AmaZulu?
