Kaizer Chiefs returned to winning ways when they defeated Platinum Stars in their own backyard at the Royal Bafokeng Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
The Glamour Boys were finally able to end their five-game winless run in the Absa Premiership when Siphiwe "Shabba" Tshabalala headed the ball into Dikwena's net to give Amakhosi victory over the home side. His goal saw the Naturena team move up to the third spot on the PSL table.
Amakhosi coach Steve "Jola" Komphela told SuperSport during his post-match interview that every team that plays against Chiefs always bring their A game.
Supporters have responded to Komphela's statement... here are some of their comments:
"I don't know why Platinum Stars let you (Komphela) off the hook, but still strongly believe you deserve to be sacked." – Xolisa{khosificated}
"But you must also bring your A game, Jola, maan." – Boris Becker
"Steve's right... look, players are marketing themselves when playing against big teams and they always want to be noticed." – TeeyJay-Ntolo-Bucs1
"How can you bring your A game against a team that always parks the bus?" – boshie
"Why don't you bring your own A game?" – indidane
"Then stop mumbling and bring your A game against everyone." – Mumm_Rubi
Do you agree with Komphela's statement?
