With Orlando Pirates and Kaizer Chiefs reportedly after Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder Khama Billiat, Bucs and Amakhosi supporters have been playing the guessing game of where the midfield maestro might be playing next season should he remain at Chloorkop for the remainder of his contract, which ends in June this year.
As reported by the Siya crew, Amakhosi are believed to be on the fast track as they are looking to secure the Zimbabwean on a pre-contract in this transfer window.
Supporters Club's Lerato Mkhondo caught up with Bucs supporter Richard Mtshali, who seemingly is unbothered by the Naturena team's attempts to sign Billiat.
Lerato: Hi Richard. So many players linked to Pirates this transfer window but nothing has happened yet. Now Amakhosi are reported to be on the verge of securing Billiat. Your thoughts?
Richard: As much as it is frustrating that Pirates have been silent in the transfer window so far, I have no doubt we will get Billiat before Chiefs could. Khoza makes things happen! What Khoza wants, Khoza gets. Chiefs do not scare us because they wait for free agents anyway, and Khoza will not wait for him to be a free agent, he will get us Billiat. I mean we released Thabo Rakhale and with the latest rumours that Mobara could be on his way to Bidvest Wits, it's only fair that the chairman gets us Billiat. Who else can he get us except for him?
What do you think are the chances of Billiat donning the black and white next?
