With SuperSport United building for the future, news reaching the Siya crew is that the club has tied down one of its enterprising youngsters.
Indications are that the club has engaged Thapelo Maseko, offering the player a new and improved deal.

"The team wants to make sure they keep these youngsters for as long as they can and that's why they have given Thapelo (Maseko) another four years. His current contract is running until June 2024 but the team has made sure that they add another four years which means he will be at the team until at least June 2028. They are making sure that they secure his services for a long time," a source revealed to the Siya crew.
Club CEO Stan Matthews has confirmed that the club aims to retain as many young players as possible, for the future of the team.
"We have a strong retention policy for young players. The young players like tied up for the next four years, some five years. The young ones like Rapoo (Neo), Johannes (Kegan), Maseko (Thapelo) and Luke Fleurs just signed extensions," Matthews informed the Siya crew.
"For us we are locking in these young talents."

The 20-year-old was promoted from the team's DStv Diski Challenge side at the start of the season and in the 18 league games he has played, he has already scored three goals including one against Mamelodi Sundowns.
