The Buccaneers have endured a disappointing start to the league campaign after back-to-back losses to Sekhukhune United and Marumo Gallants in the last two weeks.
Pirates were able to avoid a third straight loss in all competitions on Saturday after playing to a 1-1 draw against Mamelodi Sundowns in their MTN8 semi-final first leg.
Stellenbosch were also involved in MTN8 action over the weekend as they defeated Sekhukhune United 2-0 in their first-leg encounter at the Danie Craven Stadium.
In the league, Steve Barker's charges claimed their first point last week after a 1-1 draw with Magesi FC.
Pirates currently occupy 15th spot on the Premiership table while Stellenbosch find themselves in 13th position.
