Kaizer Chiefs have the top eight in their sights when they take on Polokwane City in their final game of the Betway Premiership season.

Teams: Kaizer Chiefs vs Polokwane City

Date: 24 May 2025

Venue: FNB Stadium

The Soweto giants missed the chance to move into the top eight last weekend after playing a 1-1 draw against Sekhukhune United at the New Peter Mokaba Stadium.

Makabi Lilepo bagged his fifth goal of the campaign and became Chiefs' top scorer in the league this season despite only joining the team in January.

However, Chiefs will be without the services of winger Pule Mmodi, who was sent off against Sekhukhune after being shown a straight red card.

Polokwane, meanwhile, currently sit seventh on the Premiership standings heading into this afternoon's clash.

Phuti Mohafe charges have failed to win their last five league matches, which includes a 2-0 loss to Cape Town City last weekend.

Chiefs will finish in the top eight with a win, while a draw should be enough to keep Rise and Shine in the top eight.

Here's how they line up:
