Reports coming out of Morocco suggest that Wydad Casablanca president Saïd Naciri has promised his players a handsome bonus if they manage to beat Kaizer Chiefs this weekend.
Wydad are desperate to overturn their shock 1-0 semi-final defeat to Amakhosi which they suffered at their home turf the Mohammed V Stadium on Saturday.
Despite being favourites going into the tie, there was nothing Wydad could do to keep out a resilient Chiefs side who managed a shock victory thanks to a solitary Samir Nurkovic strike.
Now, in an attempt to motivate his players ahead of the match, club President Naciri has promised his players a handsome bonus of €7500 (±R127 000) each if they manage to beat Chiefs at the FNB Stadium this Saturday.
According to Moroccan publication Maghribfoot, the bonuses offered is an improvement on the amount of €5634 (±R 96 048) which is standard for the players.
In addition, the Moroccan giants, who arrived in South Africa on Wednesday, has travelled with a fully fit squad, after sending their fringe players to do battle against RS Berkane, a match they won 2-0 on Tuesday.
Chiefs on the other hand have been going through their paces under the watchful eye of coach Stuart Baxter, though its unclear whether he will be on the bench for the encounter with his paperwork still outstanding.
Kick off for the match on Saturday is scheduled for 18:00.
