Orlando Pirates Sent Message Of Encouragement By Club Legend Tonic Chabalala

Orlando Pirates

Orlando Pirates have been sent an encouraging message on their CAF journey by one of the club's former stars.

The Buccaneers have one foot in the final of this year's CAF Confederations Cup final, following their impressive 2-0 victory in the first leg of their semi-final tie against Al-Ahli Tripoli in Libya last weekend.

Co-coaches Mandla Ncikazi and Fadlu Davids will be working on finishing the job in Orlando against Al-Ahli this Sunday for the team to go to Nigeria for the final on May 20 against either DR Congo's TP Mazembe or RS Berkane of Morocco who be competing for another spot in the final.

Former Pirates defender Tonic Chabalala has encouraged Bucs' players to go all out to ensure that the team ends the season on a high.

"I am sure that there is nothing in the Pirates players' minds right now than to go all the way in this competition now that there is a chance to reach the final. They know that this is the only thing left for them now and they should approach this weekend's match with a do or die mentality. The most important thing is for the players to have confidence and not to just rely on the coaches to motivate them," said Chabalala.
