Another key player ruled out for Kaizer Chiefs

Another key player ruled out for Kaizer Chiefs

Kaizer Chiefs will be hoping to progress to the semi-final of the MTN8 when they take on Stellenbosch but they will have to do so without the services of one of the team's key players.

With Chiefs currently under the cosh, the last thing coach Arthur Zwane and his team needed was for another key player to be added to their growing injury list.

Already missing Ashley Du Preez and Yusuf Maart due to suspension, Chiefs will have do make do without the services of full back Reeve Frosler.

Speaking to the media at the MTN8 media press conference, Zwane confirmed that the player who has been deputizing in that left-back role since the start of the season has been ruled out through injury.

The defender hobbled off with an injury in their 2-0 loss to Cape Town City on Tuesday and was replaced by Happy Mashiane who took up that left-back berth.

Chiefs, however, are hopeful that they will have new signing Edmilson Dove ready for selection with Zwane sweating over work permit issues, which could be resolved before Sunday's clash.
