The excitement of FIFA 23 is palpable and the top 23 players featured in the game have been revealed by EA Sports.

What's the story? 

FIFA 23 will be released on 30 September and EA Sports has revealed the highly-anticipated player ratings. 

Ronaldo and Neymar received downgrades, with the latter dropping down to below 90. Messi also downgraded by still has an elite rating.

Five world-class players earned the top rating of 91, including cover star Kylian Mbappe and Ballon D'or favourite Karim Benzema.

FIFA 23 Top 23

As mentioned, five ballers have earned the 91 rating, the highest in the game.

Along with the above-mentioned French stars, Barcelona's Robert Lewandowski, Manchester City's Kevin De Bruyne and Lionel Messi make up FIFA 23's big 5.

Messi is still a over 90 rating after downgrading by four rating points. 

The two highest rated goalkeepers are Bayern's Manuel Neuer and Madrid's number 1 Thibaut Courtois, both with ratings of 90.
