The English Premier League might be taking the audacious step of including FIFA 20's ambient crowd noises in their broadcasts during the upcoming games. The Premier League is due to resume on June 17 with matches including Manchester City, Arsenal, Aston Villa and Sheffield United, but since the games will be behind closed doors, broadcasters are looking for ways to improve the television spectacle.

The Premier League's broadcast advisory group will present a series of suggested innovations to clubs for their approval, but at this stage, it would appear that the use of FIFA 20 game sounds is the Premier League's preferred option.
Some of these innovations also include a fan mosaic in the stands at each game, representing the teams involved. 360-degree replays as well as new state of the art cameras.
While the Premier League will present this and many other options in the end it will be the individual clubs who will have the final say.

The Bundesliga which has already re-opened, albeit also with behind closed doors games, has had its broadcasts supplemented with a fake "crowd noise" soundtrack for its television viewers.

One only needs to mute these features in-game to realise just how important they are to the entertainment value and energy of the game and thus it is completely understandable that broadcasters would want to do anything to avoid having to broadcast the upcoming Premier League games without the crowd noise.
