Sony have confirmed that the DualSense controller will have a number of accessibility features.
The new controller for the PlayStation 5 boasts haptic feedback and adaptive triggers as new features, but these can be turned off for players who would struggle with it.
On a post on the Sony Interactive Entertainment website, it was confirmed that you can either turn off the features completely, or reduce the impact of them.
Accessibility has been thought out in more detail with the next-generation console, with it also boasting a screen reader to help blind and low vision users.
There is also functionality for voice dictation, text reading for deaf and hard of hearing players, as well as colour correction.
"People across all walks of life may have a visible or invisible disability. According to the WHO, roughly 1 billion people or 15% of the world's population live with some form of disability," Sony said on the website.
"Chances are you or your friends, families, or colleagues have experienced, or will experience some form of disability in your lives. It's simply part of the human condition and at SIE we have a passion to work towards improving accessibility within our products and services and within our company."
