A Liverpool star has responded sarcastically to his rating in EA FIFA 21, saying that they didn't "bother" to upgrade his card.
Diogo Jota, who joined the Reds before the start of the current season, is also a fan of EA FIFA and even won the ePremier League back in April while representing Wolves.
Soon after winning that title, he also blitzed through a FUT Champions weekend league, winning all 30 of his games and ranking 61st in the world.
However, according to the Daily Mail he previously called out the gaming giants for failing to improve his card following his move to the Premier League champions, with the attacker still boasting 80 overall despite having netted seven times in just 17 games for his new club.
"I think they were taken by surprise when I went to Liverpool," he said, according to the Daily Mail.
"They thought I was going to stay at Wolverhampton and then they didn't even bother to upgrade my card.
"I kept the data from last season, and despite being one of the best scorers in the Europa League and everything, they didn't even bother.
"As long as they send me my 99 card, which it seems every professional player is entitled to, I am happy."
