D'General FC might have exited the Nedbank Cup but some of their players have left a lasting impression with their performances in this year's competition.
D'General lost 3-0 to TS Galaxy in the Last 16, having won their earlier match in the competition against fellow third tier outfit Madritas. Sekhukhune United midfielder Kamohelo Mokotjo and Lesedi FM host, Ba2cada, are the co-owners of the ambitious outfit, and they could soon be selling one of the team's top performers Tshepo Sebolai to the topflight, according to sources.
Sebolai – a 24-year-old left-back – attracted interest from Galaxy after their match at the Free State Stadium recently, as confirmed by a close source.
"I can confirm that there is interest from TS Galaxy in D'General FC's Tshepo Sebolai after their Nedbank Cup game recently. Tshepo is a left back with experience and he has been doing well for D'General. There is a big possibility of him making a jump to the PSL next season if all goes according to plan," said the source.
