Interest is pouring for Magesi FC star attacker Tshepo Matsemela from the DStv Premiership, the Siya crew has been alerted.
'Jomo', as he is affectionately known has been one of the outstanding players for his team this season, with the side sitting comfortably in sixth place at the time of the league's Afcon-enforced break.
Matsemela came through the development ranks of Stars of Africa and even spent time in Europe – in Portugal and Sweden. Since then, he has moved around in the second tier quite a bit, turning out for no less than seven clubs in that division.
A source close to the player confirmed that the 28-year-old is being monitored by two clubs in Mzansi's top flight.
"There's a lot of interest Magesi star player Tshepo Matsemela. His numbers are incredible with five goals and six assists so far. He has done really well this season and featured in a lot of games for his team, so it's no secret that clubs are after him. There are two clubs who are seriously interested in him. However, I cannot reveal the names at this point as it might jeopardize a potential move," the source said.
