The Siya crew has learnt that struggling Richards Bay FC are considering Kaizer Chiefs coach Arthur Zwane as a possible solution to take over the head coaching role.
It is unclear what the former Amakhosi winger's current role is within the club's structures following the departure of Molefi Ntseki in October last year.
At the time, Chiefs issued a statement confirming that '10111', as he is fondly called, would return to his previous position, which was as the head coach of the side's DStv Diski Challenge team, although that position is held by Vela Khumalo.
The latest news regarding 'Mangethe' is that he could return to the dugout as a head coach. This time around, it could be on the books of the Natal Rich Boyz, who find themselves in a precarious position on the DStv Premiership log standings.
The KZN outfit, currently headed by Vusumuzi Vilakazi, has managed just three wins from their opening 16 games, while playing out to four draws. Richards Bay are understood to be considering Zwane as a potential solution to their current woes, though Soccer Laduma understands that they are yet to make a formal approach to the hierarchy at Naturena for his services.
