Following Polokwane City's decision to relieve Serbian coach Zlatko Krmpotic of his duties, sources have indicated that Bernard Molekwa has been elevated to the position of caretaker coach at the club.
Molekwa has been doubling up as assistant coach and team manager at Rise and Shine. With Polokwane set to host Baroka FC in the Limpopo derby on Saturday at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium, it has been confirmed by sources close to the club that Molekwa will be in charge of the side.
Molekwa has previously stepped up to the plate in leading Rise and Shine whenever the club parted ways with a coach.
The 5-3 loss to Cape Town City on Wednesday was the last straw for the club, who decided to show the Serbian coach the exit door.
