The future of an Orlando Pirates defender will be decided by the club in due course.

In the latest edition of Soccer Laduma, issue 1063, the Siya crew reported that Pirates is expected to make a decision on Ayanda Gcaba at the end of the season.
The experienced defender is spending the remainder of the 2017/18 season on loan with Platinum Stars, having joined the club from Pirates in January.
According to sources, the player's future is one of the matters on the agenda during the club's discussions for next season's squad.

"As you know, Ayanda Gcaba is on loan at Platinum Stars from Orlando Pirates. Pirates are yet to make a decision on his future. But the player is unlikely to feature in the team's plans going forward," said the source.
The 32-year-old player has been with Pirates for the past five-and-a-half years. He is in the last six months of his contract with Pirates, as his deal comes to an end in June.

The defender has been playing regularly at Dikwena since joining the team and prior to his move, Gcaba spent the entire first half of the season without playing a single official match at Bucs.
