Following Soccer Laduma's report that Lehlohonolo Seema has been placed on 'special leave' by Sekhukhune United, the Siya crew now understands that the coach is set to meet up with management, though the situation appears to be untenable.

As first revealed by the Siya crew, Seema has been placed on special leave by Babina Noko following a disagreement between the coach and the club over demands on a new contract.

Seema's contract with the club is due to expire at the end of June and it's believed that they are currently not seeing eye-to-eye over the terms of a new contract.

While the matter is still up in the air, indications are that they could part ways and a meeting between the parties will just be a formality before a separation is announced by the Limpopo outfit.

Seema is understood to have already attracted interest in the DStv Premiership, with Chippa United believed to be looking at bringing him back. The Chilli Boys have Kwanele Kopo and Thapo September as co-coaches, but chairman Chippa Mpengesi has been an admirer of Seema for quite some time, with the coach having had two previous spells at the club.

Seema took over at Sekhukhune towards the end of last year after he left Polokwane City and did not take time to settle into life at Sekhukhune, as he secured positive results from the word go. The club is in a comfortable position on the log, in fourth, and they are guaranteed to finish in the top eight yet again.
