The Siya crew has been led to believe that Gaston Sirino is likely to make another attempt to force a move in the January transfer window, should he not be able to get his clearance from Mamelodi Sundowns prior to that.
It's no secret that the club's jersey number 10 has fallen out of favour and was seen training on his own at Chloorkop not so long ago, which was the clearest indication that he may no longer be in the plans of the technical team.
After the Uruguayan was unable to secure a move away from the defending champions before the close of the recent transfer window, it is understood that there are ongoing talks within his camp for an exit from the Brazilians when the next window opens.
Indications are that the skilful attacker is well aware of the possibility that he may not get another chance to play at the club and the best possible way to handle the situation would be to leave, so as to get a chance to play elsewhere.
According to information received by this publication, the 32-year-old would look at the possibility of leaving the PSL altogether, to ensure he gets a move that will benefit him financially as well, as he is in the latter years of his playing career.
The Tshwane giants appear to have enough within their squad to handle a Sirino departure, but they do hold the key in the player making a move or finishing the season frustrated on the sidelines.
