PSL Interest In India-based Zwane

PSL Interest In India-based Zwane

There is growing interest from the PSL in the services of Mandla Zwane who has been coaching in India these days. The former Orlando Pirates player has been with Indian Super League side Jamshedpur since the end of last year.

The ex-midfielder is an assistant to Indian coach Khalid Jamil but things haven't been going so well for the team so far as they are eighth on the standings in the 12-team league. In each of their previous two matches, Jamshedpur conceded three goals as they lost both with 3-0 margins and Zwane's future has been in serious doubt.

A source close to the mentor has revealed to the Siya crew that at least two clubs from the Motsepe Foundation Championship have showed interest in his services.

"Coach Mandla Zwane is still with Jamshedpur in the Indian Super League but he could be soon coming back home. There is interest in his services from two teams in the Motsepe Foundation Championship and he and his camp are assessing the options," said the source.

Zwane had been linked with a move to Tanzanian giants Simba SC before accepting the offer from Jamshedpur in December.
