After spending several seasons in South African top flight football, former Bloemfontein Celtic, Mpumalanga Black Aces, and Golden Arrows defender Limbikani Mzava is close to securing a move abroad.
According to reliable insiders with knowledge of the situation, the Malawian international—who last featured for Magesi FC in the Betway Premiership—is understood to be close to finalising terms with a Malaysian Super League outfit.

Sources close to the player have indicated that Mzava is set to sign a contract with Malaysian top flight team Penang FC, with potential for a longer stay based on performance.
"It is understood that the team is willing to offer him a two-year contract after the expiry of the current one if he performs well. It can be a new lease of life for him," the source told Soccer Laduma.
Meanwhile, a second insider indicated that despite this potential overseas move, the experienced defender could return to South African football in future.

"He has great experience in the PSL having joined the then Bloemfontein Celtic and he has grown to know the league very well. This could just be another step to come back to the PSL. So that door is not completely closed," the second insider revealed.
Mzava's last competitive appearance in South African football came with Magesi FC, where he played a significant role in helping the team secure the Carling Knockout trophy. However, the former Malawi national team captain was among the players released when coach Clinton Larsen departed the club in December last year.
