Siphelele 'Stash' Ntshangase is closing in on a new deal to revive his career after parting ways with Kaizer Chiefs almost three months before the end of the season.
The 28-year-old midfielder will be looking to revive his career in the top-flight in the new season, and as part of his search for a new club, the former Black Leopards star has surfaced at newly-promoted club Sekhukhune United ahead of the club's pre-season training.
According to sources, negotiations are at an advanced stage for the attacking midfielder to be signed by Babina Noko who are working on assembling a formidable squad in preparation of their historic first season in Mzansi's top-flight.
Ntshangase had his contract with Amakhosi terminated in March after he struggled for regular game-time at the club.
The player struggled with form at the Soweto giants since he joined from Baroka in January 2018, and should his move be finalised as expected in the coming days, he will hope to rediscover his form at Babina Noko to replicate the performances that led to his Bafana Bafana call-up while playing in the second tier.
Ntshangase was previously linked with AmaZulu, with the KwaZulu-Natal giants believed to have made enquiries into his availability this past season, in line with the plans to strengthen coach Benni McCarthy's squad for the next campaign.
