News reaching Siya crew is that former Maritzburg United goalkeeper Jethren Barr has made a decision about his future.
As previously reported by the Siya crew, Barr rejected a new deal at the Team of Choice last month, as he wanted to get more game-time.
Sources have indicated that clubs in Ireland as well as locally, in AmaZulu FC, have also enquired about his availability.
It is now understood that a move abroad looks likely for the shot-stopper.
Insiders have revealed to the crew that the young keeper is heading to Ireland where he set to begin his trials with Ballyclare Comrades expressing interest.
"Barr was set to fly to Ireland on Friday," an insider told the Siya crew.
"There's no specific club at the moment but his agent has been communicating with Ballyclare coach Michael Dougherty, who wants to sign him, if he doesn't get other offers during his trials there."
According to sources, the Team of Choice have already earmarked a replacement for Barr with former Kaizer Chiefs keeper Brylon Petersen, who looks set to reunite with Ernst Middendorp.
