This publication has been given more details regarding Ntsikelelo Nyauza linking up with beleaguered Moroka Swallows.
As revealed by the Siya crew earlier this week, the 33-year-old penned a deal with the side ahead of the second half of the season to bolster the squad after the recent turmoil involving a player strike over financial matters.
The defender did not have his deal with Richards Bay FC extended when it expired at the end of June 2023 and had been a free agent until signing for Swallows a little over a week ago. He had been keeping fit while waiting to secure his next move.
Now that the ex-Orlando Pirates man has put pen to paper on a deal with the Dube Birds, the length of his contract has been revealed to the crew by a reliable source.
"He has signed a two-year contract," the source said.
The deal, it's understood, does not have an option to renew. The signing of Nyauza is a boost for the Dobsonville-based outfit. Not only does he bring invaluable experience, but he comes in after the club lost defender Keegan Allan to SuperSport United.
