With coach Nasreddine Nabi tipped to have made his choice for the three goalkeepers for the season ahead in Fiacre Ntwari, Brandon Petersen, and Bruce Bvuma, Kaizer Chiefs are set to make a decision on Bontle Karabo Molefe.

Insiders at the club have indicated that Amakhosi want to give young Molefe the chance to play regularly.

As previously reported by Soccer Laduma, Chiefs are looking at loaning out Molefe, but if the chance to sell him comes up, they could take that option depending on the circumstances.

"The club actually wants to give Bontle (Molefe) the chance for more playing time and they feel with the goalkeepers the club has now, that will take time and that's why they want to loan him out. They know he is still young and they want him to gain experience so that when he comes back he can stand a chance to compete. You know he is only 21-years-old and he still has a great future ahead of him and the loan will prepare him for that," said the Siya source close to the club.

Meanwhile, a second insider stated that Chiefs will still have one extra goalkeeper from the DDC team to help the senior side when Molefe might be loaned out.

"They know they can't just have three senior goalkeepers. What happens in the case of injuries and suspensions? That's why the DDC goalkeeper will be roped in for training and will be needed for travelling with the senior team. But he will mostly be playing for the DDC team while training with the senior team, that's if the loan deal for Bontle goes through," the second insider told the Siya crew.

The 21-year-old was promoted to the senior team from their development side in 2019, and he is yet to play an official match for Amakhosi because of strong competition from the likes of Itumeleng Khune, Bruce Bvuma, Brandon Petersen, and now Fiacre Ntwari.

Soccer Laduma contacted Chiefs and the player's agent for comment, but there was no response at the time of publishing this report.
