The Cherries have been one of the surprise packages in England's top flight this season, but Rantie couldn't ride the wave of success.
Following his latest injury setback, which has ruled him out for at least six weeks, the 25-year-old wasn't included in Eddie Howe's squad for the remainder of the season.
'TK' was the only member of the current first team squad that dropped out, while January signings Benik Afobe, Lewis Grabban, Juan Iturbe and Rhoys Wiggins were included.
Long-term absentee Max Gradel also made the selection, finding his way into the 25-man list at the expense of the South African.
The former Orlando Pirates forward recently made his Premier League debut, but didn't play more than 38 minutes during three substitute appearances.
Lee Tomlin, Yann Kermorgant, Christian Atsu and Joe Bennett, who all left the Cherries in January, were the other names not on the 25-man list.
Here Bournemouth's official squad for the resy of the season:
Goalkeepers: Artur Boruc, Adam Federici, Ryan Allsop.
Defenders: Steve Cook, Charlie Daniels, Sylvain Distin, Tommy Elphick, Simon Francis, Adam Smith, Rhoys Wiggins.
Midfielders: Harry Arter, Dan Gosling, Max Gradel, Juan Iturbe, Shaun MacDonald, Eunan O'Kane, Marc Pugh, Matt Ritchie, Junior Stanislas, Andrew Surman.
Strikers: Benik Afobe, Lewis Grabban, Josh King, Glenn Murray, Callum Wilson.
