The former SuperSport United winger was only introduced in the 83rd minute, but made the perfect impact when he scored the winning goal in the 92nd minute with a powerful strike from distance.
It was Campbell's first-ever senior goal for the Brugge first team.
Austria
Yusuf Maart and Antonio van Wyk both featured for SV Ried, who suffered a 3-1 defeat to Sturm on Saturday.
Maart was named in the starting line-up and played the full 90 minutes, while van Wyk was introduced in the 65th minute.
Ried remain without a win after three matches played in the Austrian Bundesliga.
