Zwolle
Kamohelo Mokotjo played the full 90 minutes as PEC Zwolle qualified for the final of the Dutch Cup by beating NEC 2-1 in the semi-final on Wednesday night. Jesper Drost opened the scoring for Zwolle just before the half hour mark, before Kevin Conboy equalised for NEC ten minutes later. Maikell van der Werff got the winner for Mokotjo's side with 9 minutes to go. Mokotjo could meet fellow South African Thulani Serero in the final, with Serero's Ajax Amsterdam set to play AZ in the other semi-final on Thursday night. Siyanda Xulu found himself on the bench yet again during FC Rostov's 3-0 cup win over Rotor Volgograd on Wednesday night. The former Mamelodi Sundowns defender has notched up 12 appearances for the Russian outfit in the campaign so far, one more than his 11 appearances last season. Keegan Ritchie lasted the full 90 minutes as his Slavia Praha were knocked out of the Czech Cup after they went down 1-0 at home to Zbrojovka Brno.
The former Kaizer Chiefs fullback looks to have cemented a starting berth at the Czech club, having started in Praha's last four matches. Ritchie's side are 18th in the Czech Liga standings, only four points above the relegation zone.
