Pitso Faces Toughest Al Wahda Test Yet...

Pitso Mosimane has had a decent start to his career as Al Wahda head coach, however, 'Jingles' and his men are set to face their strongest challenge yet.

Mosimane overturned his side's slow start to the league campaign having suffered an opening day 2-1 loss to Al Bataeh.

However, Mosimane's men managed to get back to winning ways by managing four wins in their last four matches in all competitions including an emphatic 5-0 win over Emirates FC in the UAE League Cup.

They have also kept three clean sheets in their last three matches.

Their toughest test to date will come in the form of reigning UAE Gulf League champions Shabab Al Ahli, who currently sit in second place, with a perfect start to the campaign, managing three wins from three matches.

Looking ahead to their stern test on Friday Mosimane shared his thoughts on coming up against former Monaco coach Leonardo Jardim's side.

"There is no easy game, but there are matches that everyone sees more private and complex, and here we are talking that we are going to play against the champion of the latest edition of the League," he told the media.

"We will face an opponent who showed great quality last season, and this season he confirmed in his last continental game. Al-Ahli are a balanced team on all lines and strong attack, and we have to deal with the opponent's strengths and find exploiting weaknesses at the technical level.

"I trust the players and their ability to handle such kind of sensitive matches that are determined by complex details, we showed strong defensively by going out with a clean sheet the last three games, the winning streak continued, now we have to work better offensively, we will work with more focus and more effort to come back with all three Points," he concluded.
