Pitso: I’ve Got Unfinished Business With Bafana!

Al Ahli Jeddah coach Pitso Mosimane has revealed one reason why he would be open to returning as Bafana Bafana national coach.

Mosimane was at the helm of the national team for two years between 2010 and 2012 but parted ways with Bafana Bafana after failing to qualify for the 2012 African Cup of Nations.

The coach then dusted himself off in spectacular style with Mamelodi Sundowns, where he enjoyed a glorious eight-year spell.

Stints at Al Ahly and Al Ahli Jeddah has followed, but Mosimane's time as Bafana coach, which was without a trophy, remains a thorn in his flesh.

"Well there's nothing wrong to do the national team again huh?," he said via his official TikTok account.

"It's something on my plate and unfinished business because that's the only place where I never won a trophy, so why not? Maybe it's a thorn in the flesh for me.

Maybe an [African] Cup of Nations, you never know. Anything can happen, we dream big. An African team winning the [FIFA] World Cup, it's possible, hey.

"There's always possibilities, you can never say never. It's open, I won't lie; I would love to. Especially now with 11 teams in the next World Cup. I mean everybody has a chance there," he continued.

Mosimane is well on his way to a trophy in Saudi Arabia if he continues his winning ways. Al Ahli currently sit in 1st position on 52 points with 10 matches to play.
