He's currently holed up in Belgium as he waits to see what happens with regards to his potential championship medal with Club Brugge, but how is Percy Tau doing in lockdown?
Reports in Belgium have stated that the Belgian Pro League is due to be ended prematurely due to the Coronavirus outbreak that has taken hold of the world, with Club set to be handed the title despite their being one league game and the championship play-off yet to play.
Tau, who is on loan from Brighton Hove Albion in the English Premier League, says that he's doing fine at home as he looks to stay in shape for whatever lies ahead, also praising the club for their efforts in helping him do so.
Speaking to PUMA from Belgium, the Bafana star said, "I have adapted my training... The club has given each member of the team gym equipment to use at home. So I am keeping fit, however there's nothing that beats being on the field. Moving from group to individual training requires a lot of self-discipline. So far, I am on the right track.
"We keep in touch with the club's nutritionists daily, their advice on the type and preparation of the food has been invaluable. Then we also have a mandatory check-up with the coaching staff to advise of training needs. My manager has been amazing, she keeps me in touch on all other matters pertaining to my career."
The 25-year-old also urged people to stay positive in this tough time, telling PUMA, "I have always been a motivated person, despite every challenge I have faced in my life and career.
"So I am extremely motivated right now to come back after this period in better shape and with a good mindset to challenge what this virus will bring us. We all need to have a positive mindset."
Tau's side also have the Croky Cup final to think about, although there has been no indication of when or if that game will take place.
