Thembi Kgatlana has wasted no time in getting off the mark for SL Benfica, bagging a brace in a dominant performance for the Portuguese giants in just her second appearance.

The 23-year-old Banyana Banyana star completed her switch to Benfica last month after leaving Beijing BG Phoenix, penning a multi-year deal with the side as she took her first steps into European football.
After making her debut earlier this month in the 3-1 win over Sporting Braga in the Taça de Portugal, the attacker got her first goals this weekend as they smashed Amora 11-2 to progress into the semifinals of the competition.
Kgatlana was a second-half substitute as Luís Andrade continues to integrate her into his side going forward, and showed her worth with two clinical finishes towards the end of the tie to open her European account.

Now, as she takes her aim at a league debut, the South African star will be working hard over the next few days in an attempt to get into Andrade's side that takes on Sporting CP in the Campeonato Nacional Feminino.
