Jermaine Seoposenwe couldn't have asked for a better start to life at Real Betis in Spain as they picked up a vital win in her debut game on Saturday.

The Banyana Banyana star completed a move to the Primera División de la Liga de Fútbol Femenino recently as she took her next step on the European ladder after leaving Gintra Universitetas, but was made to wait a little bit before playing as she awaited her work permit.

Now though, having gotten her paperwork, Seoposenwe was brought on as a second half substitute in their bottom-of-the-table clash with last-placed Espanyol, and played her part in picking up three points with a 2-1 win that lifted them out of the relegation places.
Next up for the former Samford University attacker is an encounter with Athletic Club next weekend as they hope for a third successive victory, while they also have a Copa de la Reina quarterfinal coming up this month against Logroño after knocking out Atletico Madrid earlier this week.

Seoposenwe, who is wearing the number 2 jersey in Andalusia, will be working hard in training over the next week in the build-up to that game against Athletic Club as she looks to force her way into Pier Luigi Cherubino's starting XI.
