AFC Bournemouth's South African striker, Tokelo Rantie, has received the number nine shirt at the Championship club for the upcoming season.
The 23-year-old, who was on the scoresheet for the Cherries as they beat Portsmouth 3-2 in a friendly last week, takes over the prestigious number from Lewis Grabban who joined Norwich.
Rantie endured a difficult first season in England after his big-money move from Malmo FF in Sweden, but was announced as the clubs new main striker, having previously worn no 28.
With Bournemouth's star striker Grabban, who scored 22 goals last season, having moved on, there will be more responsibility placed on Ranties' shoulders as is reflected in his shirt number.
The talented forward will be hoping to repay Eddie Howe's faith in him this season by getting in amongst the goals as Bournemouth look to improve on their 10th place finish of last campaign.
Rantie has made 29 appearances for the Cherries last season, scoring three goals and assisting further five.
A good domestic season for Rantie would also bode well for Bafana Bafana as they need his goals in their attempts to qualify for the upcoming African Cup of Nations.
