Thembinkosi Lorch is nearing a return for Orlando Pirates after a long absence due to injury, the Siya crew has learnt.
The creative midfielder has been back at training for the past few days and indications are that the 29-year-old is racing against time to regain fitness for a chance of getting game-time before the end of the season.

Lorch has missed 12 matches in succession in the league.
With the Buccaneers appearing to be picking up form, following successive victories against Golden Arrows and Stellenbosch FC after a disappointing start to the year, the player's return will be an added boost to the team for the creation of goals to keep the side in the race at the top half of the log.
The Soweto giants did confirm at the end of last year that the Bafana Bafana international was due back at the end of this month, and while there has been no other official update from the club, pictures and videos of the star working hard in training have been circulating on social media.

Jose Riveiro's side is scheduled to visit Marumo Gallants at the Royal Bafokeng Stadium this Saturday and it is still unclear if Lorch would be available for selection for the fixture, or for the one to follow on February 4 against defending champions, Mamelodi Sundowns.
