A former Orlando Pirates striker has suggested that Bienvenu Eva Nga would have fitted in well at the club if he played alongside red-hot Gabadinho Mhango, had the Soweto giants held onto the experienced Malawian.
Eva Nga has emerged as the main striker for the Buccaneers this season, having featured in all seven of the team's matches, with five starts and coming on as a substitute on two occasions.

The Cameroonian has scored one goal so far.
With Mhango scoring and creating goals for AmaZulu, former Pirates striker James Mothibi believes that the Malawian would have been the best striking partner for Eva Nga in Jose Riveiro's team.
"I know that the supporters are putting a lot of pressure on Eva Nga but I would like to advise him to focus on his game and on how he can help the team and not focus on the negative things the supporters are saying about him. He is going to be a very top striker. I can only imagine what would have happened if he had joined when Mhango was still there. Mhango would run around people to create opportunities and he (Eva Nga) would finish. He would have formed a deadly partnership with Mhango. But I don't think the supporters are doing justice to this boy. I don't like the fact that we have supporters who are sometimes frustrating our players because that means we have enemies among ourselves," said Mothibi.

"I was in a similar situation when I was at Pirates as there were supporters calling for my exclusion. But as a team we tried and fought for the club to win something. The most important thing was that I wore the Pirates jersey while most of the people who criticized me, didn't wear it and do not know how it feels to wear it. It is easy to criticize, but it takes hard work to wear that jersey and that's my way of encouraging the boy (Eva Nga)," he added.
