An Orlando Pirates star who has been performing since returning to the starting line-up has been singled out, as Bucs aim to return to winning ways after some disappointing results of late.
Against AmaZulu in the 1-1 draw in Durban on Wednesday, Ben Motshwari was outstanding in the middle of the park alongside Fortune Makaringe and his performance has brought joy to the technical team as they try to improve the results for the team.
Since returning to the side after sorting out his off-the-field issues and after having his suspension from the club lifted, Motshwari has been enjoying good form, with Pirates' co-coach Mandla Ncikazi impressed with the 30-year-old Randfontein-born player.
"Ben is quality. Just like I said, you can see the growth in our team since our players that have been out are returning from injuries and it's a process. (Thembinkosi) Lorch has been out, (Innocent) Maela has been out and is coming back and he has just played a few minutes. Ben Motshwari was out, Mhango was out, and he's started training. Lepasa has started training (although he is) still (undergoing) rehab, the process is longer," Ncikazi told journalists this week.
