He hasn't featured for Orlando Pirates since 2021, but this Buccaneer starlet could finally get his chance to shine at the Soweto giants.
Monnapule Saleng, Tshegofatso Mabasa, Zakhele Lepasa and Thabiso Sesane are all examples of players who were sent out on loan by Pirates and grabbed their chance upon their return.
Azola Tshobeni will be hoping to follow suite.
The 22-year-old spent the last two seasons out on loan in the Motsepe Foundation Championship with JDR Stars to gain some much-needed first team experience.

But as all loan moves go, the Pirates academy graduate has returned to his mother club, where he was amongst the faces featured in the team's official photoshoot for the 2024/25 season.
Insiders are hoping that Tshobeni's presence in the club could mean that he will finally get his chance three years after breaking into the senior team as a teenager.
"The coach has shown that he has no favourites. If you are good enough and work hard, you will get your chance. Look at Sesane, he was not even making the matchday squad but he worked hard and managed to feature in the Nedbank Cup final. So I hope the same happens for Azola," the source said.
Tshobeni made eight appearances for Pirates in the 2020/21 season.
